DAY 4 (Pt.2): ROMA

As an introduction to Rome, we were dropped off near the top of the Spanish Steps. We found the obelisk, traversed down the many steps toward the fountain at the bottom and then headed towards Trevi Fountain.

The Trevi Fountain
This is one of the most famous fountains in the world for many reasons (movies, history, politics, love, etc.). Most of our students made it down to the water and threw a coin into the fountain - from the right hand over the left shoulder - and wished for something.

We walked a bit from the Piazza Navona to the Ponte Umberto to get back on the bus and head to the hotel. This is the sunset view looking downriver at the Castel Sant Angelo:
